Pasco County Opens Vaccination Appointment Portal to Residents Age 65 and Older
January 13, 2021
Pasco County Government, in support of the Florida Department of Health in Pasco County (DOH-Pasco), has contracted with CDR Maguire: Health & Medical (CDR Maguire), one of the state’s leading COVID-19 testing companies, to provide vaccination scheduling through their CDR HealthPro™ patient portal software.
This week, DOH-Pasco has allocated 500 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to be administered at Saint Leo University located at 33701 State Road 52 in St. Leo on Friday, Jan. 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (To get to the drive-thru vaccination site, enter at the university’s main entrance located at the traffic light on State Road 52 and Palm Boulevard. Enter the traffic circle and make the first right. Follow the directional signs.)
If a person, age 65 or older, would like to schedule an appointment for the first dose of the vaccine, the patient portal will go live to book appointments, Jan.13 at 2:00 p.m.
Appointments can be scheduled:
- Online by CDR HealthPro™ portal at patientportalfl.com
- By phone at (844) 770-8548. (If you call and the appointments are full, you will be told to go online and pre-register for future appointments or call back when appointments are available.)
DOH-Pasco has a waitlist of approximately 250 people. Those on the waitlist will receive an email with information on how to book their appointments when the portal opens. They should check their email and spam or junk folders for an email from CDR Maguire. The remaining 250 or so appointments will be available for general booking on Wednesday, Jan. 13. at 2:00 p.m. when the portal goes live.
If waitlist residents have not made their appointment by 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 13, the slots will be made available for general booking. If a resident is attempting to book an appointment Jan.13 after 2:00 p.m. but finds that all slots have been filled, they are encouraged to go back at 5:00 p.m. to try again.
Appointments are mandatory to get the first of two vaccine injections.
Pasco County expects to receive allocations of vaccine from the state as it is made available. Vaccination appointments will be provided to the public based on the vaccine supply allocation received. Limited availability of vaccines is anticipated over the next several weeks.
