DOH-Pasco COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Site Closing

By Melissa Watts

May 19, 2021

The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County (DOH-Pasco) is closing the COVID-19 drive-thru testing site at the Gulf View Square Mall in Port Richey. The last day for testing at this location is Monday, May 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

DOH-Pasco is closing the drive-thru testing site because the COVID-19 positivity rate is down below five percent, over 226,000 people have been vaccinated in Pasco County as of May 19, and fewer people are showing up to get tested.

Although this drive-thru testing site is closing, DOH-Pasco continues to urge all eligible individuals to get vaccinated against COVID-19. It’s not too late to help.

COVID-19 testing is not available at Saint Leo University. For additional COVID-19 testing sites in Pasco County, go to bit.ly/PascoCOVIDtest.
