Internship Opportunities

The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County (DOH-Pasco) provides opportunities for students to expand their knowledge and practice related to public health through internships.

For a student to participate in an internship their university/school must have an agreement with the DOH-Pasco.

DOH-Pasco is proud to offer a variety of internship opportunities in public health.

We handle requests for internships on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability. Health clinic internships reach capacity months before the desired intern start date.

• To get started, complete the Internship Application Form. 
• Submit your syllabus and resume to Pasco.Web@FLhealth.gov.

You must submit your application materials by: 

• Spring Semester: November 1
• Summer Semester: March 1 
• Fall Semester: July 1

Once placement is confirmed, the intern coordinator will contact you. You must pass background screening and attend orientation to be an intern with DOH-Pasco.
